Mo Willems: Wrecked Tangles

7th Annual Benefit Exhibition

This exhibition features abstract work done for Mo’s 3o^th Annual Sketchbook focusing on the stresses of the past year alongside recent paintings, doodles, and sculptures. Mo’s proceeds from this year’s shows will benefit Empty Arms Bereavement Support through the Mo and Cher Willems Foundation.

The 11 works from the Wrecked Tangles sketchbook is sold as a complete set compiled in a cloth bound clam shell box with a signed copy of the sketchbook.

We Are All Connected

As part of the Kennedy Center’s 50th Anniversary season celebration, their very first Education Artist-in-Residence, Mo Willems, joined forces with members of the local community to create a giant mural inspired by his series of connected dots and lines. Two hundred and forty members of the community laid down large dots on the REACH plaza floor and Mo connected them. The public art project can be seen from a plane and is a statement on the interconnectedness of all things, sometimes in unexpected ways.
