Tomie dePaola has written and/or illustrated over 270 books for children, and has been honored with numerous awards including the Newbery Honor Award, the Caldecott Honor Award, the Smithson Medal from the Smithsonian Institution, and the New Hampshire Governor’s Arts Award of Living Treasure. His numerous titles include Strega Nona: An Old Story, The Art Lesson, Meet the Barkers, and 26 Fairmont Avenue.
Our collection features original pieces from dePaola’s numerous children’s books, as well as selections of rarely seen, unpublished illustrations, and other artwork. dePaola’s work is permanently on display at R.Michelson Galleries.
