Vitek Kruta’s creations are part sculpture, and part painting. Inspired by the European masters he encountered while apprenticing in the former Czechoslovakia, his work combines the qualities of the vast architectural church murals he would work on with an American landscape tradition. He refers to these pieces as INSCAPES. Says Kruta: “Inscapes are the ‘Inner’ works I live in and explore. Some of the qualities they represent are peace, solitude, contemplation, meditation, relaxation, and healing. The door is wide open, inviting the viewer to explore that world with me.”
Please join R. Michelson galleries for the Opening Reception of Inner Vision, Outside World on Friday, February 8th from 6-8 pm (in conjunction with Northampton’s Arts Night Out).
