Kevin Eastman and Simon Bisley

This painting was done to commemorate Northampton MA, 350th Anniversary.  To celebrate, the city enlisted artists to create works celebrating Northampton and reproduced them to cover all the Daily Hampshire Gazette newspaper boxes all around town. Prints of the works were sold to benefit Northampton schools.

Kevin Eastman, at the time a Northampton resident collaborated with British comic book artist Simon Bisley to do this painting of Raphael sitting atop a bust of President Calvin Coolidge (also a Northampton resident).
